General Booking Terms and Conditions – Casa de los Leones

Applicability

These general booking terms and conditions apply to all reservations made directly with Casa de los Leones. By making a reservation, the renter agrees to these terms and conditions.

Formation of the agreement

A reservation is final after the tenant has received a booking confirmation and the agreed-upon deposit or full payment has been made.

Payment

The payment terms are stated in the booking confirmation. If a payment is not received in time, Casa de los Leones reserves the right to cancel the reservation after informing the renter.

Hive

The deposit is stated in the booking confirmation. The deposit will be refunded after inspection of the accommodation, provided that no damage has been found and the terms of the rental agreement have been met. Any costs for damage, loss or extraordinary cleaning may be deducted from the deposit.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, the cancellation policies of Casa de los Leones apply as stated during the booking process and in the booking confirmation.

Changes by the tenant

A request to change a reservation will be honored if possible. However, Casa de los Leones cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Any price differences or additional costs will be borne by the renter.

Cancellation or amendment by Casa de los Leones

If Casa de los Leones is forced to cancel or significantly modify a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, the tenant will be informed as soon as possible. Already paid amounts will be fully refunded. The liability of Casa de los Leones is limited to the refund of already received payments.

Liability

Casa de los Leones is not liable for loss, theft, damage to personal property, injury or accidents during your stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence. The use of the accommodation and all facilities present is at your own risk.

Overpower

Casa de los Leones is not liable for the non-performance or partial performance of the contract due to force majeure. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, forest fires, government measures, pandemics, prolonged failure of public utilities, strikes, and other circumstances beyond Casa de los Leones' control.

Complaints

Complaints should be reported as soon as possible during your stay so that Casa de los Leones has the opportunity to resolve them within a reasonable time frame. Complaints reported only after the end of your stay may no longer be processed.

Applicable law and competent court

All reservations and agreements are subject to Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Spain, unless mandatory provisions provide otherwise.
